MORe: Natashia Boland's Research Interest - Optimising cancer treatment plans for multi-leaf collimator technology.
Integer programming approaches to optimise treatment plans and minimise time required to deliver radiation treatment plan using multi-leaf collimator. Collaboration Dept. of Maths., U. of Kaiserslautern, Germany plus two Honours student in 2002. One conference presentation has been made on preliminary results: Boland, Hamacher & Lenzen (2001). One paper under review at Networks. Continued in 2003: new collaboration with the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, with assistance of 3rd-year project student.
